Mirassol Futebol Clube is celebrating 100 years of history, since its founding in 1925. The club was founded with the goal of representing the city in friendlies and regional tournaments. Moving forward, Mirassol managed to professionalize in 1951. The club had a real start to its protagonism only in the 21st century, when in 2008, it disputed the elite of the Campeonato Paulista for the first time. But what really marked the club's history was the sale of Luiz Araújo, which brought resources for the construction of a modern training center and innovative management. So, Mirassol Futebol Clube reached places that its founders could never have predicted. The club became a success story in Brazilian football, winning three promotions and two national titles, Série D in 2020 and Série C in 2022. Mirassol Futebol Clube is already looking beyond, intending to start exploring South America in 2026. And the Municipal José Maria de Campos Maia stadium, known as 'Maião', has already experienced historic moments, such as the 6-2 thrashing of Palmeiras in the 2013 Campeonato Paulista. The club has transitioned between the second and third state divisions, winning Série A3 in 1997. Ten years later, came the access to the state elite, finishing third in A2 in 2007, marking the beginning of a new era. Mirassol Futebol Clube has a rich and marked history of overcoming, and its centenary is a moment to celebrate.
